Konya Metropolitan Municipality has implemented the USK Single Sided Double (RW) Aluminum Noise Barrier, supplied by Uşaklıgil, in the residential area along Abdulhamid Han Street to minimize noise pollution caused by transportation.
Uşaklıgil Noise Barrier Project Director Uğur Çalışkol stated that this project was carried out due to the high noise levels caused by road traffic in the area. He emphasized that background noise measurements confirmed the reduction of noise levels to a livable standard for the residents.
